Blue Ridge & Shenandoah Valley

The Blue Ridge & Shenandoah Valley (BS&SV) is a subsidiary of the Norfolk & Western and it’s mainline is shared with the Virginian. The steam era BR&SV interchanges with the PRR at Columbus, OH and the SOU at Williamson, WV and Portsmouth, OH. This railroad hauls coal from the mines in the Appalachian Mountains along with other raw materials to online and offline industries and from the Ohio River facility at Portsmouth, OH. Coal trains and local freights vie for passage with first class passenger service.

Available operation positions are: Dispatcher, Roanoke Yard Master, Columbus Yard Master, Bluefield Station Master, Williamson Station Master, Portsmouth Station Master, Ashton Steel Mill, and five road and local train crews.

HO scale, Digitrax (IR, Simplex, Duplex radio, WIFI) CTC, Car Cards, Waybills, Telephones. Basement entry in the rear of the house.
